Lankum
Described as by MOJO as “Modern folk music’s OK Computer”, the release of Lankum’s fourth studio album ‘False Lankum’ in 2023 brought the band universally acclaim, including Mercury and Ivor Novello Award nominations, numerous ‘Album of the Year’ accolades and a range of plaudits and new fans. This followed the band’s previous records for Rough Trade, ‘Between the Earth and Sky’ (2017) and ‘The Livelong Day’ (2019).
In 2024, Lankum released ‘Live in Dublin'. Recorded across three sold out nights at Dublin's Vicar Street, the album features the group performing songs from across their catalogue including ‘The Rocky Road to Dublin’, which had previously never been officially released. Lankum continue to take the interpretation of folk and traditional Irish music to a new level, with their staggering live show gaining the reputation of something to truly behold.
